DockDogs®, the independent governing and sanctioning body for Regional, National and International dock jumping and dock diving performance sports is seeking seasonal Event Operations / Equipment Managers for various sporting events located throughout the United States and Canada. DockDogs®, the largest diversified presenter of dock jumping and dock diving Dog Performance Sports in the world plans, manages and executes over 200 live events at venues throughout the globe, providing high quality forms of both competition and family entertainment to millions of fans. Due to our wide range of event productions, the responsibilities of our Event Operations / Equipment Managers are vast and vary depending on the division. As a result, any and all potential candidates must: - Be over the age of 21 - Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record - Have your own transportation (for getting to and from Airport as well as driving to events when applicable - Like to travel - Have a flexible schedule with both weekday and weekend availability - Have prior experience driving trucks with pull behind trailers and/or pulling trailers / boats / cars / loads of materials - Be able to manage event staff / crews and competitors ranging from 3 – 10 people - Be responsible & hard working - Be able to multi-task - Be able to communicate effectively with people - Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet navigation - Be able to lift at least fifty pounds safely (to assist in the manual set-up and tear- down of event infrastructure) - Always present a positive image on behalf of DockDogs® and the events / sponsors we represent - Prior event experience is not a requirement BUT is preferred Although the position is seasonal, the events take place 9 months out of the year.
