GuestFloor Management is hiring a Maintenance and Repair Technician to manage all ongoing maintenance, repairs, and installations done at the various bars and restaurants served by GuestFloor Management in the Denver and Arvada areas. Our businesses served include The Arvada Tavern, Union Lodge No.1, and The Tatarian. The overall goal of this position is to keep our businesses safe, operational, and in compliance. Required Skills and Physical Requirements: We expect all members of GuestFloor Management to have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. The ability to work independently and be self-motivated is a must. Strong organizational and time management skills are also required in order to efficiently stay on top of tasks and projects. This position requires occasional heavy lifting and we expect this role to be able to lift at least 70lbs. without assistance. Due to the physically demanding nature of this position, we also expect this person to be able to walk, stand, climb, kneel, reach, crawl, push, pull, and twist throughout the majority of the working day. Experience: - Maintenance and repair: 3 years (Required) - HVAC: 1 year (Preferred) - Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred) - Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred) - Drywall: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: - driver's license (Required) - COVID-19 vaccination card (Required) Preventative Maintenance: This role will have standard preventative maintenance that needs to be performed regularly to keep the businesses working the way they should. Ongoing preventative maintenance includes, but is not limited to: - Regular inspection and cleaning of the refrigeration condensers at each business - Regular ice machine cleaning and maintenance (Fresh Craft and Scotsman) - HVAC scheduling and follow-up - Hood cleaning scheduling and follow-up - Battery replacement for ADT alarms and motion sensors - Building and Fire Code scheduling and compliance, including annual extinguisher inspections - Air filter changes on air conditioning units - Bleaching drains and replacing any faulty piping - Shoveling snow and salting walk paths, as necessary - Other plumbing and low voltage electrical repairs - Help decorate businesses for seasons or themes, as needed Type of Pay/Benefits: - Salaried Exempt - This position is not eligible for overtime but may be required to work more than 40 hours per week. Starting salary will depend on experience level.
