In November of 2020, my brother contracted covid 19 and spent nearly 3 months on a ventilator. We, as a family, thought we would lose him for sure. He came through and during his recovery, he and I spoke. He asked me a poiniant question that I really had no answer for, one that really got me thinking as I am sure it would you as well. I proceeded to sit down and write this song and after many re-recordings of it, I finally have a version that I am pretty happy with and I am ready to share with the world.
