Standard Paints, Inc. located in Mansfield, TX has an immediate opening for a General Fabrication and Plant Associate. This is a low pressure, fast paced position with a respectable company. We are looking for someone who is driven and would like to come on board with an established and growing company since 1952! Yes, we make the popular Wood Defender Fence and Deck Stain right here in Mansfield! This position includes but not limited to the following…. • Perform basic carpentry and proficient use of hand tools • Assembling equipment • Basic maintenance and preventative maintenance on plant equipment • Basic material prep / processing (cutting, drilling, grinding, etc.) • Assist seasoned welders and fabricators • General facilities maintenance • Assisting with ongoing fabrication projects and multitasking • Organizing shop inventory, cleaning shop, and general house keeping Qualifications • Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license • Pay attention to detail and must be organized • Must be able to multitask • Following instructions is a must • Must be able to lift 50 lbs • Read a tape measure and use hand tools • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Basic mechanical skills • Strong communication skills. • Safety minded This great opportunity is for an Entry-Level position with a starting pay of $32,500.00 annually.
