Landscape/Hardscape Construction Crew Leader $21-23 per hour Responsibilities: A Garrett Design Crew Leader is primarily responsible for landscape installations. 40 hours per week with possibility for overtime. ALL hours worked over 40 will be paid as overtime at a rate of 1 ½ hourly rate as required by law. Daily Tasks: ● Perform physical field and yard work alongside a crew that you will lead. ● Perform other duties as directed by Head Foreman. ● Execution of landscape construction work including, but not limited to planting, mulching, grading and bed preparation, removal and transplant, sod installation, drainage installation, site development, cleanups, and other landscape and work tasks as necessary. ● Manage landscape projects accorinding to plan, based on industry standards for planting and installation. Ensure 100% on time delivery of all contracted work. ● Support crew by contributing to constant attention to detail, cleanliness of job sites, and maintenance of tools. Keep trucks and tools organized. Be responsible for the job and the crew member (s) you will lead. ● Interact with clients, the public and vendors in a professional, polite and courteous manner. ● Accept instructions to complete tasks as required, then seek out additional tasks when finished. ● Pick up materials from vendors using company trucks. Drive safely and with care. What to expect: ● Fast-paced and continually changing work conditions, which include lifting 75 lbs., physical activity including bending, kneeling, balancing, walking, stooping, and continuous use of the arms and legs. ● Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise and cold. ● Uniforms will be provided. Work jeans/khakis and work boots required
