JOB TITLE: Paint Prepper and or Polisher Polisher must have 1-year prior experience JOB DESCRIPTION: The Paint Prepper is responsible for preparing all assigned vehicles for refinishing and reassembly processes. RESPONSIBILITIES:  Thoroughly reviews each repair order prior to beginning work on a vehicle  Completes all paint preparation processes for vehicles according to factory specifications  May prime, edge, or jam replacement parts  Knows how to properly sand and prep for paint, new parts, and blend panels  Knows how to properly sand and featheredge surface for primer  Able to properly block panels for refinishing  Able to mask all panels and cover the car to minimize tapelines and overspray on the vehicle  Adheres to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal  Maintain a clean and organized workspace  Performs other duties assigned by management
