HappyTails Pet Sitting is a growing and well-loved pet sitting company and we are seeking RELIABLE, HONEST, WELL-ORGANIZED members in the Downtown, Fountain Square + Irvington areas to add to our team. We are looking for individuals to do AM/PM Pet Sitting visits and weekly Mid-Day Dog Walks. This is a perfect job for animal lovers, outdoor enthusiasts and those who like to work independently. As a team member, you will be an independent contractor. You will be scheduled to go to client's home to pamper, walk and care for their fur family. It is recommended that you live within 3-5 miles of the service areas (46202, 46203, 46204, 46219, 46225). If you do not live within 5 miles, please understand that you may end up traveling to/from work for longer periods than you are scheduled to work. Information Regarding AM/PM Pet Visits: Visits are typically 2-4 times per day. They can be scheduled for a couple of days up to a couple of weeks at a time. (You'll provide feeding, clean up, walking, plant watering, mail pickup, etc. while clients are traveling.) Visit times vary but are between the hours of 7 am and 10 pm. You will have breaks in between visits and will not be working the entire 15 hours. You will just need to be available during those hours as our clients need on the days you are scheduled to work. Information Regarding Mid-Day Dog Walks: Walks are typically during the Mid-Day hours of 10 am - 4 pm for 25, 35 or 45 min. Requirements for the HappyTails Team Member Position: -At least 21 years of age (no exceptions due to insurance). -Reliable vehicle, auto insurance and a valid driver's license. -Daily access to internet and e-mail. -Own a smart phone and are comfortable with its technology. -Must have attention to detail to read through and follow specific instructions. -Organized, flexible with scheduling and are able to work well independently. -Ability to handle large dogs and multiple pet households. -Can walk several miles a day in all weather conditions. -Available to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's (Don't worry; you'll be able to have a holiday too, and you'll be paid more per visit during this time.) -Provide at least 2 personal and 2 career references. -Pass a criminal / background check. We have relatively flexible schedule options and do visits 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm. M-F only options are limited; most team members are required to work at least two weekends per month and holidays.
