Boogie Boulevard is an established 10 piece band with a 3 piece horn section. This band is full of easy going fun people ranging from 21 to 65 years old. We are experienced players, most of us having gigged more than 500 times with various groups. Some members have toured with major recording artists. Our cornerstone is '70's disco/funk/dance music. Of course other genres and more contemporary songs are peppered in to make us more marketable for corporate parties and weddings, which is our focus. Currently we are: Bass, Drums, Percussion, Tenor Sax, 1st Trumpet, Guitar, Keys, and 2 Female Lead Vocalists. We are looking for a fun trombone player to replace our last player who moved out of state. Solid intonation and the ability to play tight with the other horns is a must. Soling is not that critical. You must be willing to come to every rehearsal so we can function better as a team on stage! No addictions or egos please. We have charts for all the songs, but tweaking is still needed here and there. You must be a quick learner - there are currently 46 songs in our repertoire. We also have a lighting system. This band is ready for any gig! We currently rehearse in North Renton one Sunday per month and gig once/month. Our rehearsal studio is 3 blocks from the SR169/I-405 interchange.
