Foreign Language Services Simulation (FLSS) is hiring role players/OPFOR for a U.S. military training exercise in Ft. Pickett, VA and the surrounding area. **prior military or law enforcement background is a plus** Civilians with no military or law enforcement background are encouraged to apply. This contract has been awarded and will be executed in October 2022. Work will be for one day on October 5 in Ft. Pickett. The exercise will be up to 10 hours and you must be available for the full day. - Wednesday Oct. 5 (Ft. Pickett) Pay is $20 per hour worked and will be paid in full within one week of exercise completion. • We are hiring males and females with the required experience. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Follow scenario-based training and instructions • Scenarios include real life situations, including opposition forces and realistic responses • Armed role players be able to deliver a realistic OPFOR performance based on Close Quarters Combat (CQB) scenario objectives for training • Able to provide armed or unarmed positions of scenario role play support • Remain in attire and in character for the duration of the training exercises • Take direction and execute specific directions from managers on site Qualifications • Priority hire for active or prior military or law enforcement experience • All role players must be US Citizen • Basic knowledge and proficiency in small arms handling and Simmunition safety • Must be able to operate Simmunition (paint) capable M4s, 9mm pistols and blank firing AK-47. • Role Players/Actors will be exposed to blank and/or simmunition marking rounds • Physically capable of working in multiple weather conditions and be able to climb at least 10 flights of stairs, run, and repeatedly lay down to take cover when required • Wear tactical vests and helmets, have tactical skills experience • Excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a team • Applicants must live within travel distance to Fort Pickett, Virginia as per diem & travel will not be provided.
