WELLESLEY, MA — The year 2021 is revving up with election prep for Wellesley's 2021 town-wide election.
While the election is still three months away, the deadline to return nomination papers is fast approaching. Nomination papers went live in the town on Dec. 2 and the last day to take out nomination papers is on Friday. The deadline to return them is Jan. 12.
Wellesley's town-wide election is March 2.
The following positions are on the 2021 ballot:
Select Board: 2 of 5 positions (3 year terms)Assessors: 1 of 3 positions (3 year term)Health: 1 of 3 positions (3 year term)Housing Authority: 3 of 5 positions (2-5 year terms and 1-1 yearterm)Moderator: 1 of 1 position (1 year term)Natural Resources: 2 of 5 positions (3 year terms)Library: 2 of 6 positions (3 year terms)Planning: 1 of 5 positions (5 year term)Public Works: 1 of 3 positions (3 year term)Recreation: 3 of 5 positions (2-3 year terms, 1-2 year term)School Committee: 2 of 5 positions (3 year terms)Town Clerk: 1 of 1 position (3 year term)Town Meeting Members in precincts A through H.
