Hello I'm in need of some help. After my daughter an I witnessed a traumatic event as part of a dv, cps has came in demanding I not b alone with my daughter and that I do all these drug test an counseling if not then thy re going to take my daughter away from me like all this was my fault. They called me a liar and basically forced me into signing a safety plan an also into doing a drug test. Which that's how they trick people and get them put in the system.. Saying if I did not they would take my daughter. We were the victims. my ex girlfriend shot herself in front of us, but someone it's my fault and they are treating me like I put my daughter in danger because my ex girlfriend and I had an argument in front of my daughter one time before this and I stayed. I didn't know it was child endangerment having a argument with ur spouse? Please help me this county is messed up and I have seen a lot of kids get takin away from their parents for stupid reasons like not having enough money to buy cloths and diapers. I feel like there is no reason to make my daughter and I go through anymore stress and traumatic things. I was trying to leave before she got home cause she was acting crazy. I'm sorry I don't have a car and my ride didn't get there before she did. I tried and I was leaving and not coming back an that is why she did what she did. I'm living in a safe place at my moms now and there should be no reason forr me to have to go through anymore crap especially not this stuff. Like we haven't been through enough. Please I need a probono lawyer quick before I dig myself into a deeper hole I can't get out of and ends with more traumatic events like them taking my daughter from me.
