*Must pass a hair drug test and background check* JOB TITLE: Assembly Technician - 2nd or 3rd shift PAY RATE: $17 ASSIGNMENT DURATION: The duration is temp to hire depending on performance and attendance ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assemble, test and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes • Work with electrical and mechanical equipment • Disassemble, trouble shoot, repair and reassemble equipment that does not pass test • Maintain assembly and test equipment as required • Move material to and from workstation by hand, cart and crane as required • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong mechanical aptitude • Three years prior manufacturing assembly experience • Ability to plan work procedures, determine tooling and operation sequence, etc., in order to establish the most efficient manner of utilizing materials and equipment • Ability to work in conformance with engineering and quality specifications and lean manufacturing principles EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school or equivalent PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to Lift 30 Lbs. • Ability to Perform Work, While Frequently Standing. Working Environment/Environmental Hazards: • Industrial Setting w/ the Presence of Noise, Chemicals, Lubricants and Other Process Inputs. • Overhead Lifting Devices. • Heavy Equipment, Inclusive of Presses & Forklifts. • Climate Controlled.
