Description
Hello! My name is Evan, and I am the songwriter and multi instrumentalist for my music project Heavybird. I currently have three full length albums released, and two more in differing stages of recording. You can stream my music on most major services or find me on bandcamp (Heavybird.bandcamp.com).
I just recently moved to the area, and I’m hoping to play some live shows with a full band. I am not really in a rush with this, and am also curious how the lineup could look. I’m not planning to faithfully reproduce the recordings live, and I don’t want to use backing tracks. I’m imagining a four or five piece band, but how it ends up will be more based on who contacts me. I’m open to a variety of instruments and musicians. I’d love some combination of any of the following: drummer or percussionist, cellist, electric bassist, viola or violinist, bassoonist, flutist, french horn or euphonium player, and/or keyboardist. I’m open to even trying other instruments, and multi instrumentalists are definitely a plus. I will be playing guitar so I am not looking for another guitarist, and I’m not necessarily looking for harsh brass (trumpet/ trombone), banjo, mandolin, or harmonica players.
I’ve been mostly focused on studio work so far so playing live isn’t something I’ve done often, so I haven’t established much of a following yet. I’m not currently in a position where I can guarantee pay for each show, but I will split any money earned (including on merch sales) that are brought in from a live performance played.
Let me know if this at all sounds interesting, and I look forward to hearing from you!
