Outdoor Walking/History Club; Tuesdays & Thursdays This is a walking team but with a history twist added in. I will discuss the history of the outdoors, wilderness, New Hampshire, and the white mountains. The team would also be introduced to basic map reading and compass skills with each week a “Leave No Trace” principle added and discussed as a way to introduce ethics in the outdoors. Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays: 1/19 & 1/21; 1/26 & 1/28; 2/2 & 2/4; 2/9 & 2/11; 2/16 & 2/18; NO SCHOOL 2/23 & 2/25; last classes are 3/2 & 3/4 Please note: By clicking Agree on the registration page, you assume all risk of your child participating in the above activity. Without clicking agree, your child will not be able to participate in the activity. You acknowledge that the above activity may pose some risk of personal injury and that you undertake and assume this risk for your child. You consent that he/she receives any medical treatment deemed advisable for an injury your child obtains during the activity and that any medical or other insurance for your child will be insurance of first resort before contribution by any other insurance or any other person or entity, including accidental death and dismemberment insurance and accident medical insurance. Please ALSO note: ASE is a privilege, and misbehavior or disrespect (either to teachers or fellow students)  will not be tolerated. Minor misbehavior will be handled by the teacher in the moment, however chronic or severe misbehavior will be handled in the following way: Parents will be alerted via email of the behavior. This is the warning. If the misbehavior continues, the child will be expelled from the remaining classes of the session without refund. If the misbehavior continues in future sessions, the child may be prohibited from future after school activities.
