Description

This is an 8-hour course that will include classroom and hands on training. At the conclusion of training, student’s skills will be assessed during a scenario based evaluation. No previous training is required to attend. Students will be taught everything they need to be successful. Topics Include Rapid Casualty AssessmentBleeding ControlAirway and RespirationDocumentation and CommunicationEvaluation Students will learn to correctly demonstrate 5 skills; rapid assessment, tourniquet application, wound packing, application of pressure dressing, and airway maneuvers. Training Location Classroom instruction will be conducted at the Towne Square shopping center in Port Orchard, Wa. The culminating exercise can be inside or outside, so students should bring appropriate clothing for the weather. There is an hour break scheduled for lunch. In the area, there are multiple lunch venues available including many fast food restaurants. Please be prepared to purchase lunch or bring it with you.
