My name is Sol Rivera and I am a Junior at The Mastery School at Hawken. I’m very passionate about a non-profit called Hope For Henry that makes hospital care a lot more comfortable for children. The Founder, Laurie Strongin, had a baby named Henry who had a rare disease and lived to be 8 years old. She started Hope for Henry to make sure that all kids could be themselves while getting procedures done in the hospital. Based in Washington D.C., it is now utilized in three hospitals in the Cleveland area.
I’m teaming up with GrooveRyde, a fitness boutique in Woodmere, and we are hosting a fundraiser for Hope for Henry. Your $25 donation admits you to a fun-filled beat-riding 50-min indoor cycle class led by GrooveRyde’s Brandy Pasela.
You can choose to cycle in your sneakers or in SPD cycle shoes. GrooveRyde will be offering free cycle shoes on a first come first serve basis. Please note that have a limited size run. If you’ve never taken an indoor cycle class, don’t worry. Brandy will get you all set up. Additional things you may need are hydration and a towel. GrooveRyde also sells both.
GrooveRyde's entrance is near the parking garage and to the side of Bank of America. Enter through the glass doors and follow the music to the 2nd floor.
