Join us for a night highlighting the food and mezcal from Michoacan, Mexico. September 30th celebrates the birth of Jose Maria Morelos, an Afro-Mexican revolutionary priest who led Mexico’s independence and Michoacan’s capital namesake. Bad Bishop will feature Pancita’s food and Mocel’s small-batch mezcals inspired by the mountainous region of Michoacán, Mexico, where the Mendoza family comes from.
Menu:
1. Sopa tarasca: Pinto bean soup, tomato, ancho chile, house cultured crema, tortilla crisps.
2. Enchiladas Placeras: Morelia style enchiladas, guajillo, requesón, Dungeness crab, potato, salsa tomate, house cultured crema, radicchio, iceberg lettuce, bolita Amarillo maiz.
3. Carnitas taco: pork, salsa verde, pickled jalapenos, onion, cilantro, lime, conico azul trotilla
4. Mole estilo Michocan: Mole, chicken, arroz blanco, served with two conico morado tortillas.
