Concert appearances include Mozart’s Requiem (H.B. Woodlawn High School), Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass (St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, PA) and Viktors Baštiks Christmas Oratorio (Philadelphia Latvian Concert Choir). As a recitalist, Ms. Wyand is a frequent expositor of Latvian art music — most notably an American premiere of excerpts from Eriks Ešenvalds opera The Immured. Ms. Wyand was a third-place winner in her division at the 2019 VANATS auditions, a semifinalist at the 2015 NATS Eastern Region Conference Auditions, and a two-time division winner at the NATS—Los Angeles competition. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Magna Cum Laude) from Pepperdine University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy (with Distinction) from Westminster Choir College. Ms. Wyand studies with Danielle Talamantes and Ira Siff.
