Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures for a fall hike on the Perry Lake Trail. We will hike out and back on one of our favorite sections of the PLT. Beautiful views of the lake and the hope to see American Bald Eagles along the way. We will gather and hike together along this section of the 29 mile Perry Lake Trail. Along the way, we'll share some tips for getting stronger and taking longer hikes in different places. Connecting with nature after a long day at work is the perfect wind down for our brains. We will hike over natural terrain, down hill and uphill each at our own pace. If you've been looking for some motivation to get started hiking or to spend time in nature this is your chance! We'll send you specific directions the evening before our hike, we always watch the weather and conditions, often updating details for an event at the last minute to ensure safety and comfort. Meet: 5:30pm at the PLT Trailhead on Ferguson Road on Perry Lake (Specific directions will be sent the evening prior to the hike) Hike: 5:45 until sunset... 7:30ish... Bring/wear: water, comfortable shoes with good tread, comfortable clothes, bandana, hiking pole/s, bug spray - HEADLAMP Dirty Girl Adventures Event Refund Policy: Dirty Girl Adventures will provide refunds if notice of your need of a refund is EMAILED to us no later than ONE WEEK prior to the event. Dirty Girl Adventures may cancel or modify an event due to weather or conditions. Everyone will receive a refund if that is the reason for the cancellation. We paddle and hike in cool, rainy or snowy conditions. Cancellation only occurs in severe weather or other dangerous conditions. What are you paying for? It's more than a hike, it's an experience! You will meet new people, visit new places and enjoy some special opportunities to connect with nature. We will provide instruction, support, guidance and safety information before and during each event. We will be there with you for the duration of the event doing our best to help you remain comfortable and engaged in the adventure. You may have the opportunity to ride the Dirty Bus as your shuttle from one point to the other.
