The Sistxrs in Solidarity Summit (SISS) is centered on supporting and celebrating the mental wellbeing of students who identify as Black women or nonbinary people. Join us as we explore how to strengthen the wide range of relationships we have in our lives— relationships with ourselves, peers, and professional communities. Come meet fellow students, faculty, wellness professionals, and alumni. Lunch, snacks, and swag bags will be provided!

11:10-12:00PM -- Session 1: “You won't break my soul”: self-care through a soundbath with Bloom Holistic Healing

1:00-2:00PM -- Session 2: “Pick up your feelings”: small group discussion on perceptions of Black womxnhood facilitated by CMH providers. Facilitators are mental health professionals and clinical faculty of the Dept. of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences, Keck School of Medicine of USC.
2:15-3:50PM --Session 3: “Who runs the world?” Creating your sister circle: interactive panel and Q&A with Councilwoman Yasmine McCorrin, Dr. Sharoni Little, and Dr. Shalonda K. Crawford on their mental wellness journey
3:50-4:30PM Closing Remarks—recapping day and sharing resources
