The much loved FDTL event Gospel and Jazz on the Lawn is returning to the gardens of the St Jane House this fall! Please join us as we celebrate Mary Johnson-Roy for her lifetime of service to our Northside community. Come enjoy gospel and jazz music, food, drink, and fellowship with Mary, Ed, and their family and friends as we gather in the gardens of the St Jane House. This event will be an opportunity for Mary's FDTL family to honor her for decades of service to our community, as well as an opportunity to support her and Ed during this challenging season of their lives. We hope you will join us for this "harvest of gratitude". This is an invite only event, with RSVP required. There is no need to print the ticket as a roster of those who have RSVP'd will be at the entrance. DONATIONS to support Mary with healthcare needs will be accepted at the event. RAIN DATE In the event of inclement weather, our back up date will be Saturday, October 8. About the venue...The St Jane House is an urban retreat center and house of hospitality in north Minneapolis, sponsored by the Visitation Monastery of Minneapolis. It has served as the home base of From Death to Life and the Two Mothers Healing Groups since 2008. We will enjoy this concert event in the garden and the adjacent event pavilion. The restroom is located inside the house, accessed by three steps. The St Jane House has three guest rooms, if anyone is coming from out of town and looking for overnight accommodations.
