Salary 36k to 72k yearly Looking for an ASE Certified Mechanic /12-volt technician and Shop Manager for a one bay shop in Rockville & our office in Gaithersburg to perform auto services and Interlock installations and mobile services. Ignition Interlocks are installed in a vehicle and measure the alcohol on the driver’s breath and allow them to start the vehicle if their breath alcohol content is below a set point. Must have a vehicle, honest, and be able to pass a background check with no DUIs within the last 5 years. You must be able to work independently and be internet and tech savvy DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Light Mechanic work (ACs, Tune Ups, Brakes, Suspension) - Install service and remove ignition interlocks - Tire maintenance - 9 Point Inspection Other Responsibilities: - Answering phones - Marketing and advertising to assist with reaching new clients - Maintaining files and documents - Keeping an inventory of shop items - Shop upkeep (sweeping/moping as needed
