Grew up during the Hocus Pocus phenomenon? Excited for Hocus Pocus 2 on September 30th? Wanna be part of the bewitching magic The Sanderson Sisters cast? HOCUS POCUS The Musical is looking for several key roles for our upcoming productions in North Carolina, South Carolina & Virginia. FIRST: before you go anywhere near the Black Flame Candle, you need to live in/around Charlotte NC with availability to be at ALL rehearsals on: Saturday October 1st Saturday October 8th in Charlotte NC. CURRENT SHOW DATES: October 14, 16, 30 November 3 (with possibility of more dates being added) If you cannot commit to all rehearsal and production dates PLEASE TURN BACK NOW as we can only cast those available for all dates as these are KEY ROLES. KEY ROLE #1 MARY SANDERSON Winifred & Sarah are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their quirky but lovable sister Mary. *In our production we would love a female of color to portray Mary Sanderson! (The role is open to anyone female presenting, Trans/Drag included!) Mary can be any age but she needs to be theatrical with a large personality! We know you’re out there Miss Mary! KEY ROLE #2 BILLY BUTCHERSON Billy is the Narrator of our production! No one knows The Sanderson Sisters better than Billy, after all, they killed him! In our production Billy helps tell the story and provides theatrical comic relief! The role of Billy is open to anyone male presenting (Drag King/Trans included) *ANY AGE as long as you are theatrical and comfortable being shirtless! Oh yeah, Billy’s the man candy of our story! KEY ROLE #3 DANCERS It’s not a production without dancers, we are looking for 2-4 Male/Female dancers of any age *you must have dance knowledge and be able to pick up choreography quickly! STAGE & PRODUCTION CREW We are also looking for volunteers/interns interested in being a part of a theatrical production backstage and working with us to ensure a magical experience for our guests. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to put on a show or be a part of one, then this is the gig for you! *From ensuring the cauldron is bubbling, to making sure our actors are on cue, it takes a village to put on a perfect show, if you want to be a part of that village we want you!
