Dog needs rehoming

Need to re home my mom’s dog. Mom is having health issues and cannot continue to care for him. Rufus is an 8 year old terrier mix. He weighs about 20 lbs. House trained. Healthy. Has lived all his life with another dog and they get along fine. Not sure about cats. Shy at first but warms up when comfortable. Mostly quiet but will bark at the doorbell or unknown visitors. Would do best in a quieter household. Has been an inside dog and should be an inside dog with the new family. Vet reference and $40 rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a good home.
