SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury reported on Monday 111 new COVID-19 cases in town.
The town said in its daily update that cases counted over the weekend are included in Monday's update.
"We are urging Shrewsbury residents to consider their own responsibility to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. "
The state's latest public health report, released New Year's Eve, labeled Shrewsbury a high-risk community. The town averaged 55 daily cases per 100,000 residents, a drop from the previous week, and a lower percent positivity rate of 6.83 percent.
