The Olympia Philatelic Society will hold its bi-monthly meeting on Monday, September 26, from about 5 p.m. to about 8 p.m. We will meet in our new usual location at Tumwater Mobile Estates Clubhouse, 930 Trosper Road SW, Tumwater, Washington.
We would like to invite any and all who are interested in stamps, stamp collecting, philately, cover collecting, maybe postcard collecting, and stuff like that. Feel free to bring a friend, if you have one.
We are always looking for new members, but we also are looking for people who wish to sell, donate, or just outright dump stamp collections, or failed attempts to create such or same. If we do not gain a new member, then maybe we can score some new (or old) stamps.
Complimentary (Gee, you look great today. No, not that kind of complimentary!) Sodas, cookies, candy, and general junque phood will be made available. We even have one health nut who brings such things as carrots and celery. Ok, ok, so he is 78 years of age and runs 26 mile marathons ("26 POINT TWO - the point two is the hard part!")., but other than that aberration, he is a fairly nice guy.
The Clubhouse is located off I-5. Take Exit 102, the Trosper Road exit, then drive about 1.4 mile west, turn right into the Estates, follow the street to a quick left which almost immediately turns right and leads you to the Clubhouse. Park where you can; just don't block anyone's driveway.
