Watershed Restoration Group is a private contracting company based in Missoula. We are one of the few companies in the Intermountain West that focuses on implementing native plant revegetation projects on the ground. We are hiring for immediate work this fall! Looking for motivated, hardy folks that want to join our ecological restoration team. This is a labor position - the work is physically demanding, production-oriented, large-scale, and fast paced. Yet, it is also rewarding, high-quality oriented, skill-based and fun. And definitely not looking for just grunts – looking for bright, independent, adaptable, team players to establish mutual respect with for sustainable employment. Must be able to travel for extended periods part of the year, working 10-12 hours/day, 6 days/week in all weather conditions. Our field crew positions are long-term seasonal. Willing to consider people with varying skills and levels of experience. Some people come to us with backgrounds in botany, ecology, forestry, restoration. Some have construction, equipment, or mechanical skills. Some are avid recreators that need to stay outside, and explore traveling the west. Some are looking for a respectful, motivated, diverse team to be a part of.
