Lost Cat. His name is Ninja. Left Saturday afternoon 9/24 around 3-4pm and has not returned. Our house is located on E. Pinewood Pl in the Wheatlands neighborhood of Southlands. He is shy, but very kind, probably scared. Responds to “Ninj”. Afraid of barking dogs and most people he doesn’t know. Won’t attack, but may hiss if he’s in distress. Probably will lay down scared or run if approached. Animal friendly, but needs time to get to know them first. Sometimes he is treat motivated. Sometimes he is not. He is a rescue that was brought to the shelter at about 12 weeks old. They assumed he had been homeless and living outside for that time. Very loving but scared and reserved at first. 3 years old. Not very big. Probably 13-15 pounds. Green eyes. Grey and black striped. White paws. If he is approached slowly and calmly he will usually just lay down and let you pick him up, probably best to grab him by his scruff to keep him from getting scared and trying to run.
