Sun Valley Camping is a new affordable camping destination on highway 40, just six miles from Holbrook. We currently offer four tent sites, two RV parking sites and in January we’ll have one cabin. We are solely off grid and are a pack it in pack it out type of operation. We do have a porta potty. We’re open year long and we need one person or a couple to manage the location for the winter months while my wife and I travel.  You will need an RV of your own to live in as part of the qualification for this job. Basic ground maintenance will be required and if need be, keeping campers happy.  Pay will be based on a 50-50 scale off of the campsites. We do have one cabin that we’re renting out as well but this pay split will not be on the cabin. Most campers will check in and pay via the website so you won’t have to handle many cash transactions.   Sun Valley has a market with all your basic needs and cold drinks and coffee, which is less than a half mile from the property. Knife City sits adjacent to the small store. There’s a huge truckstop 2 miles away, which has a Burger King, convenient, store, showers, and other small Native American shops. The city of Holbrook is 5 miles from the property and has everything that you will need. Last thing to note, it gets rather cold up here in northern Arizona in the winter time. If you can’t handle nighttime temperatures going below 30°, then this will probably not be the job for you.
