The H&R Block Income Tax Course (ITC) consists of 63 hours of comprehensive tax topics that will provide learners with knowledge and ability to complete basic tax returns and succeed as a First-Year Tax Preparer. Learners have the following options for completing the course: • Virtual Income Tax Course (Instructor-Led) • On-Demand Income Tax Course (Self-Paced) • Hybrid Income Tax Course (In Person Classes, Homework/Reading Online) The Income Tax Course (ITC) starts with a foundation of tax theory, and concepts build on each other. • This is an instructor led course held 100% virtually • Classes are twice a week and are either M/Th or T/F, or held twice on Saturday • Classes are 3 hours long • When signing up classes will be listed in Central time, just subtract 2 hrs for our local time To be considered to have passed the course; • You must pass the final at the end with a 70% or higher, you will have 2 attempts to pass the final. • The final is open book, open resource and we encourage our students to use their notes, text book, IRS.gov, and google to help answer questions when they're stuck.
