Newer to the area, experienced drummer available for various projects / bands. Primarily played rock, but actually listen to a very WIDE range of music - mellow electronic or experimental, metal, bluegrass, industrial, etc. So open to unique bands playing unique material. If covers, I avoid songs Ive heard 1000 times all my life on “classic rock” radio. They’ve BURNT OUT good songs. So play the other band’s good material. Or play songs you rarely see live only because its more work or production to do live – but can be done. In any event, if covers play songs you are equipped to play right – not missing important guitar parts, or keys, etc. if youre going to do that, re-write them and make them your OWN Vs doing them half ass. Fine playing more complex kit (like pictured) or a simple kit as appropriate (like rockabilly music, etc) Willing to travel a little farther to practices for the right project. Ive also written a lot of originals playing simple keys and samplers, etc. So have that gear too which can be used for songs having keys. Can convert from acoustic to electric drums in about 7 seconds, or use combo (see photos). Can create and/or play sampled sounds (any sound desired), or play simple keys or sync up recorded key tracks. Or, if not equipped to play like the original, really RE-WRITE them and make them your own! can be interesting too.
