Event and Trade Show Staff Wanted! Our next show is in Salt Lake City October 7-8th Would you like to attend the prestigious Blade show West? CastleGate Knife & Tool is looking for trade show and event staff for our growing business. We sell Knives and Axes. If you are looking for a company that can grow with you, we are the place. Job Summary As part of the trade show team you will visit trade shows to demonstrate products and services to the attendees. You will also help set up the booth, answers questions, gather email and contact info, conduct sale transactions, disassemble booth at the end of the show, repair and maintain the trade show equipment. This includes the following: • Help load the booth, displays, signage, product and equipment for each show. • Interact and coordinate with trade show promoter and show decorator regarding load in, booth set up and location. • Set up the trade show booth including displays, tents, vehicles, products and systems • Set up and operate the retail point of sale system • Set up and operate the lead and contact collection system. • Demonstrate product or service at trade shows and events. • Answer questions about product. • Facilitate both retail sales to consumers and dealer inquiries • Relay specific product benefits and value. • Suggest specific product purchases. • Keep the booth clean, organized and functional. • Assist in the take down repacking and transportation of the booth back tonight headquarters or the next show location. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of, and interest in, the knife industry as: • Demonstrated prior interest and passion regarding our product categories and consumer segments served. • A flexible work schedule allowing you to attend shows at irregular intervals in coordination with your other career or personal personal obligations. • Interest in, and ability to travel to show venues across the entire US. • A strong interest in working with the consumer public at shows including large crowds and individual detailed conversations. • Able to assist in loading and set up of the booth including lifting of items up to 40 pounds per person and safely operating basic hand and power tools. • Possess a strong ability to work with others on the team in a fluid and ever-changing environment • Possess Active Listening Skills • Provide Excellent customer service • Strive to attain event sales and marketing goals • Selling to customer needs • Obtaining and maintaining product knowledge • Positive attitude and energy level • Extreme dependability Education and Experience Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • 2+ years of public facing sales or marketing experience.
