About Us: We are an established Cover Band in San Diego. We are female fronted and play more of a rock style than a dance style. We cover all genres of rock (Alt, Classic, 80’s, 90’s 2000’s) from the last seven decades. Our set list is a mix of the “must play” favorites (GnR, AC/DC, Led Zep), mixed with known, but more off the beaten path songs (The Darkness, Wolfmother, The Hives, The Vines), and we even throw in a little comedy here and there.(Tenacious D). We are extremely busy and booked thru next May already. The biggest goal in our band is to be really good, but also have fun. We are professional with our clients and expect the same from our new player. You will be replacing an original member (7 Years) so there may be a learning curve. What We Looking For: A lead and rhythm guitarist, with vox (if possible). We are a two guitar band and share lead and rhythm roles on songs. Our other guitar player is a keyboardist as well, so you will have lead on all of those songs. We would prefer a full time player. If you have another project you are busy with, you probably won’t be a fit for us. We have flexibility as far as start time. Our ideal would be to have you with us to start 2023, but we can go out as far as April if you need that time. About You: We probably hold your personality fit within our band as our number one priority. We know we are not going to be rock stars or full time musicians, and don’t aim to be. It’s a team effort and we all support each other. We all enjoy drinking and what you do in your private time is your business. We do expect, however, that you are free of hard drugs, be sober for performances (Yes having a drink or a few beers is normal…not a problem.) You will need your own gear and will be responsible for helping with the band owned PA and signage. If You Are Interested: Drop me an email and tell me about yourself.
