This is a free 3 hour, 3 mile walking tour of Longmont's eastern half of the original residential area. No registration is required, just wear comfortable walking shoes come out with your friendsand expect an interesting and fun stroll Saturday morning! The tour is on October 8th, starts outside the west entrance of the public library (the Kimbark St. side), and starts at 9 am; no registration is necessary. Learn about the town's earliest settlers while viewing the outside of their homes, while having a nice walk on a fall day. While the tour focuses more on the people who first settled Colorado, we also highlight the different architectural styles used during different periods of the town's development.
