QUINCY, MA — The Massachusetts House and Senate agreed on a $16.5 billion transportation funding bill early Wednesday morning, which would provide $12 million for projects in Quincy. The bill, which was passed almost unanimously following a session that lasted until after 4 a.m., now heads to Gov. Charlie Baker's desk for approval. The bill would provide funding for the following projects in Quincy: $2.5 million to establish a ferry service for transportation and tourism. $1 million for parking and traffic improvements$5 million for renovations and redesign of the pier and docks at Squantum Point Park$3 million for construction and safety improvements to Sea St. between the intersection of Palmer St. and Sea St. and the intersection of Quincy Shore Dr. and Sea St.$500,000 for the procurement of open space along Quincy Shore Dr.
