This room is for one person only; please do not apply for couples/smokers. The house is shared with two professionals (one of whom is rarely home) and a greyhound (also rarely home). We will consider a very friendly and quiet dog (the occasional bark when someone's at the door is fine). I love cats but recently had a bad experience with a tenant's cat's odor. You can try to convince me.Two mature professionals (61 and 54) seeking a third to share our furnished home. One of us is rarely here.Includes:* Heat, A/C, electric* High-speed wireless Internet* Use of shared washer/dryer* On-street parking (plenty available)Plus:* Less than a block to the beach* Short walk to North Quincy Red Line Station* Owner offered/owner occupied/non-smoking householdThe room is 10x10 with two windows, a decent-sized closet, a small fridge, and a double bed. The house is fully furnished, and there is not room for more furniture or housewares. The downstairs fridge doesn't have a lot of spare room, hence the small fridge in your room.First and last month's rent are required to move in. After the first year's lease expires, I request two months' notice if you need to move. You may also move before the lease expires with two months' written notice, although preference will go to someone that expects to be here at least a year.Please email and include some info on your situation (when are you looking to move? why are you moving? how long are you looking to rent? why would you be a great housemate?) and a good time to reach you, and I will do my best to get back to you. I always have a lot of interest when a room becomes available, and I will select the tenant that has hours and lifestyle most similar to mine and who plans to be here a long time. If you pay your rent late or need to be asked to pay your rent by the 1st of the month, do not apply. We don't need to be best friends, but I will select a housemate that I look forward to running into.I am the 61 year old homeowner. My partner lives in Canton, and I'm currently there most of the time (occasionally he's here). We're extremely active and can often be found hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, kayaking, etc.
