Simple answer to your question, YES. There is a huge difference and people like Kathy Hochul make that difference perfectly clear. She claimed to be one of those "moderate" democrats. As soon as she ascended to power (she has never actually won an election in her life), her true colors exploded. She went from the second amendment protector to the tyrannical gun seizing psychopath in a matter of seconds. This is what all democrats have done. They run on a moderate platform but right after cheating their way into a position of power, the communist comes out. Democrats have always been for big government controlling every aspect of your life from birth until death. Universal pre-K is not about anything other than earlier indoctrination and state run senior homes are about total control until your death. Republicans ant government out of the lives of the citizens. They are for school choice so the parents are in control of the schools and not the other way around. Now we understand that there is a growing population that believes government has the responsibility to take care of them from the cradle to the grave. This is the teaching of the indoctrination machine formerly known as public education. So yes, there is a huge difference between Republicans and democrats. Yes, most of those who used to identify as democrats do believe in the same things as President Trump. That is why the mid term elections will be the first step in defeating communism and fascism in America.
