Description
This is Koda. He is a ~ 150lb, two year old pup. He’s my friend’s dog who needed to find him a temporary home so he’s been staying with me the last several months. Unfortunately, I just can’t keep him anymore. I have an aggressive dog and they’re not getting along. My friend would still like to have his dog but unfortunately his living situation is not where it needs to be to take Koda home. I’d like to find a family willing to foster Koda for up to three months, with the understanding that the foster home may become a forever home. Koda deserves stability and love.
***He would do best in a home without other dogs or small pets!***
He is absolutely wonderful with children, although he is a very energetic, extremely large guy so keep that in mind if you have very small children. He also really needs a yard. I’m in an upstairs one bedroom apartment and it’s just not enough space for this guy.
He is incredibly sweet and thinks he’s a lap dog. He will not stay off the furniture so I hope you’re cool with dogs in bed. He snuggles with me every night.
He may have some abuse history and seems to respond best to gentle redirection rather than firm correction. He’s pretty well behaved and housebroken, except that boy is he a chewer. Make sure he has lots of approved things to chew on or he will eat your books. Ask me how I know.
He’s a big boy and eats a lot. I have food that I can send with him and I am also willing to help cover the cost of his food for three months.
I’m not interested in a rehoming fee. I just want him to go to the best possible family who will give him the love and care he deserves.
