NORWOOD, MA — A car crashed into a gate at Norwood Airport Monday afternoon. An SUV crashed through the front gate of the airport. Norwood police said the driver was not hurt but was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The driver was only identified as a woman. No word on why the driver crashed the car — the incident is under investigation. Crash at 2:15 today at Norwood Memorial Airport (car at left in field photo).
