Mint Chip is a happy dog. She is calm and low-key when she meets new humans but once she knows that she can trust you, her tail never stops wagging. She cannot stop giving you kisses. She LOVES human attention and looking for affections. She is also a super energetic dog who is eager to please humans. She is always looking for something to do. Mint Chip is food motivated but she gets distracted easily especially when she is outside. There are so many things to see and sniff! She was a velcro dog at the beginning but has become much more independent as she's settled in. She still likes to come check where everyone is and what everyone is doing. Mint Chip was initially overwhelmed and anxious on walks but has made amazing improvement. She will need a family who is committed to help her become a confident walker and teach her doggy leash manners.Mint’s ideal home would be an active family that’s willing to put the work and time into training a herding dog to help her be the best dog version of herself.
