During this class you will join us as we walk you through the candle making process. This is a 90 minute, completely hands on, class where you will get to pick out your favorite fragrance. We will then guide you through the process of wicking your vessel, and then measuring and blending your fragrance with hot melted coconut apricot wax. Next, you will hand pour this special mix into the vessel to create a beautiful hand crafted candle you can proudly show off to family and friends as your own. Our goal is to make this event both educational and entertaining for all participants. Please feel free to bring beverages non alcoholic and alcoholic to enjoy. DETAILS: * Cost of the class ticket is $40.00. *You are welcome to BYOB (wine, liquor, etc.) Cups will be provided free of charge. * Age requirements: Because you will be handling hot wax and fragrance oils you must be 16 or older and accompanied by an adult to attend. Please feel free to call us with any questions about the age requirement. * Classes start on time so please be prompt. Any no shows or cancellations will be non-refundable. If you are late more than 30 minutes, your ticket will be transferred to the next class session either that day (if space is available) or another day workshops are being held. * *Candles take approximately 2 hours to fully set (harden) to be able to take home. You can walk around and check out the shops and restaurants around the Hampden area while you wait for your candle to set or come back and pick up you candle at Keeper’s Vintage! If you would like your candle shipped to you, there is an additional $7 for shipping that will be charged the day of class. Candles left for pickup in the shop will be held for ONLY ONE WEEK after class has been held. * Perfect for: Dates , Birthday Celebrations, Bridal Showers, Team Building, Girls Day Out, or just something different and fun to do. * *This class is meant to be an experience NOT a candle course for learning how to start a candle business. If you have a candle company or are looking to take this class to learn how to start a candle company, this is not the class for you. We do not allow recording, or notes to be taken of the process or materials used in this class.
