This class will be exploring the role of gender in the traditional archetypes and Major Arcana, including ways to de-gender your tarot divination practice, and will be taking a look at expansive interpretations of classically gendered cards such as the court cards, Empress, Emperor, and more. The structure of this class includes a lecture on gender tarot theory, collaborative dialogue on breaking out of the binary, and space for questions and discussion. This class is ideal for:-new or experienced tarot readers looking to expand their understanding of the cards-individuals looking to utilize the tarot in their own gender exploration -individuals drawn to tarot and don’t know where to begin About the presenter: Kit Orcutt (they/them) is a Non-Binary Queer witch and tarot scholar who has been reading for 25 years. Outside of tarot, Kit is heavily involved in the local queer community and non profit sector, and is passionate about astrology, herbalism, reading, and a good cup of tea.
