Come garden with us at Volunteer Park Trust’s Fall Restoration Day on Saturday, October 22nd. This annual clean up event is a major community effort to make Volunteer Park more beautiful for everyone. We’ll be working on Peach Beds #1 and #2 planting new plants, weeding, removing invasive plants, cleaning garden beds and mulching. A great activity for kids and families, come join your friends and neighbors. No gardening experience necessary. Gloves and tools will be provided. Meet at Volunteer Park near The Black Sun. Look for the Volunteer Park Trust canopy. We’ll be working adjacent to The Black Sun. Stay for the whole event or as long as you want. You will be helping restoration efforts in Volunteer Park. Free coffee and donuts will be provided from Mighty-O! This event is supported by funding from 4Culture.
