The Parent Action Coalition of Long Island (PAC) convened by Choice for All in partnership with the Long Island Regional Technical Assistance Center for Pre-K & Early Childhood (RTAC) is proud to host the first family leadership summit – Expanding Opportunities for Early Learners in Pre-K & K: Family Leadership Summit. The summit will be held on Saturday, November 12 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at Farmingdale State College - Campus Center.
This summit is a new addition to the RTAC’s seven year history of annual conference offerings focused on increasing access, quality and equity in Pre-K and early childhood on Long Island.
Exclusively for families, the key intention of the summit is to support families as leaders with tools and resources as they navigate the Pre-K and early childhood system on Long Island. To ensure families are at the center leading and designing this summit, RTAC is proud to partner with the PAC in hosting this event.
This interactive and day-long summit will have engaging workshops, panels and exhibitors – all dedicated to building the capacity, connections and collective action of families supporting their early learners and the early childhood system on Long Island. The summit will also provide a unique space for administrators, policymakers and service providers to understand the strengths, needs and the importance of authentic partnerships with families.
