This workshop takes place October 8 & 15 from 2:30-5:30pm at 1245 Hartrey in Evanston. The art of caning furniture has been practiced since the time of the Pharoahs. Prized in the 18th century as a more hygienic and lighter-weight option to heavily upholstered pieces, caned furniture is still popular today. Join us for a 2-Day introduction to the art of caning. Each participant will receive a frame and learn the steps to cane a 9.5"x5.75" space. All materials included. WORKSHOP POLICIES LOGISTICS • Saturday workshop participants please park along Hartrey St. or in the lot at the southwest corner of Dempster and Hartrey. • This workshop is 18+ • All materials are included in the workshop fee. REFUNDS & EXCHANGES • If you can’t make it to a class, you can transfer your ticket to someone 16 or older. Just email [email protected] with their name and email address. • If the Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse needs to cancel a workshop, we will notify you 24 hours before the class and give you the option of refund or reschedule. • We do not currently offer other refunds or transfers between classes.
