Come out and support Oaks and Spokes - Raleigh's biking advocacy organization on a mission to turn the City of Oaks into the City of Spokes. We all want better biking infrastructure and we need you to help us fundraise for a better future. Our in-person ride will be October 30th from 12pm - 5pm. Rides roll out every 30 minutes and the full route with brewery stops is about 3 hours from start to finish. The route is a 12-mile no drop ride, moving at a casual pace. REI will be at Crank Arm Brewing doing free bike safety checks and pumping up tires! This is a family friendly event! All children ride 16 and under ride free with any adult. Oaks and Spokes works hard to advocate for better biking infrastructure locally in Raleigh. Help us reach our annual fundraising goal of $35,000 so we can hire more staff and build more capacity AND get some really sweet swag while you do it! We're partnering with the Munjo Munjo, and they're creating a custom items just for this event. (get excited!) We will have a 12 mile slow roll, no drop route for this ride, which will stop at three local breweries - Crank Arm Brewing, Trophy on Maywood and Raleigh Brewing Company. Drink tickets are included with your registration, and soda can be substituted for beer for non-alcoholic options. Please note - for all registrations after 10.10 - swag will be mailed to participants. All participants and donors for our membership drive will be entered into a raffle for some really awesome prizes!
