You’re invited to get an in-person look at some of the most exciting items from the Downs Family KISS Collection at our Music Library! Last winter, the Music Library received a one-of-a-kind collection of rock band KISS memorabilia from two superfan donors, John Upshaw Downs, Jr. and Margaret Norris Downs. At this event, you’ll spend time with a carefully curated selection of items from that collection that includes 26 guitars, concert memorabilia, original artwork by Paul Stanley and early concert and band photos. While the collection is currently being processed for access by researchers and curious fans in the future, we couldn’t wait to show you some of the amazing finds we’ve come across so far.
