INTRO: DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING Learn the basic principles of filmmaking while producing 2-3 minute documentaries in a collaborative learning environment! Each crew of filmmakers produces a short documentary on a vital community issue. Technical instruction focuses on camerawork, lighting techniques, recording audio, interviewing skills, story structure, and editing. ADVANCED: NARRATIVE FILMMAKING Focused on narrative filmmaking, Advanced TPP is an opportunity for teens to further hone their skills through workshops in advanced cinematography, advanced lighting, sound design, screenwriting, working with actors, and advanced editing. Students should have at least 1 year of filmmaking experience.
