"Come Closer" is an experimental Halloween event where guests assume the role of an initiant within a revived cult. Over the course of a weekend, you will be asked to participate in activities that test your capacity for fear - and your loyalty to the society. *This event is capped to maintain an intimate experience. Challenge yourself by exploring unique environments (indoors and outdoors), earning rewards, and devoting yourself to a sect within the society. Choose between two ticket types: Initiant - As a prospective member of the society, you will undergo a rite of passage reserved for those most willing to serve. Includes: - A Fall Harvest Dinner (Saturday) - Hors d'oeuvre, beer, wine, & themed cocktails - Mailed Invitation & Welcome Gift Devotee - Your zealotry is the lifeblood of the society - and you are compensated justly for it. Includes everything from Initiant plus: - Upgraded Invitation & Welcome Gift - Additional starting resources - Unlocked themed cocktails Enjoy unique food and drink throughout the weekend, and work to unlock all of the offerings available. Additional Information: Age - 21+ (ID @ Check-in) Location: Nevada City, CA Itinerary: Friday - 8pm - 10pm (Check in and Introduction) Saturday - 6pm - 12 am (Dinner & Main Event) Sunday - 10am - 11am (Departure) FAQs: Where should I stay? We recommend The National Exchange Hotel (a group code will be provided upon registration). Nevada City and neighboring Grass Valley have several hotels and B&Bs (including AirBnbs) to choose from. Can I wear a costume? Guests are encouraged to wear a costume - primarily for events taking place Saturday evening. Please be aware some activities may require walking on unimproved or steep paths for up to a quarter mile. We ask that guests refrain from bringing real or simulated weaponry, or wearing bulky costumes. Is a mask required? Mask wearing is not required at this time, but you are welcome to wear one.
