Join the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, October 4th for the Conference of Western Wayne Business Leadership Banquet Featuring: Tom Russell Kavalhuna, JD*, President of Henry Ford College, Dr. Glenn Cerny, President of Schoolcraft College, and Dr. Curtis Ivery, Chancellor, Wayne County Community College District at The Henry, The Autograph Collection in Dearborn! Join hundreds of Western Wayne’s business and political leaders meet for this annual influential gathering designed to connect people to initiatives and opportunities across metro Detroit. We welcome, Russell Kavalhuna, JD, Dr. Glenn Cerny, and Dr. Curtis Ivery A little different this year, we will be doing a panel of the three community college presidents (Schoolcraft, WCCCD, Henry Ford) with the conversation moderated by WWJ’s Jackie Paige. We also will be expanding the popular networking portion to begin at 4 p.m. (instead of 4:30 p.m.) with dinner and presentation 6-7:30pm. based on attendees’ feedback. The Conference of Western Wayne brings the elected leaders of 18 communities together,in conjunction with Chambers of Commerce, to present this fantastic annual event. We bolster the relationships between municipalities and businesses. This is crucial for our area that includes 700,000 residents and over half of the Wayne County tax base!
